It was a massive celebration for Master Abdulrahman Abdulazeez, a student of Oriwu College Senior Model College, Ikorodu, who emerged as the One Day Governor in Lagos State.
The brilliant student won the 20th edition of the Spelling Bee Competition in Lagos State, to attain the feat.
The Governor of the state, Mr Babajide Sanwo – Olu, hosted Master Abdulazeez as part of the celebration lined up for the young winner at the State House on Monday, among other engagements at the Alausa Secretariat.
The Spelling Bee winner was accompanied by the Tutor – General/Permanent Secretary, Education District II, Mrs Anike Adekanye and other officials as he visited the district at Maryland.
In Ikorodu, he was hosted by the Ayangbure, Oba Kabir Shotobi at his palace before another grand hosting at the Ikorodu Local Government.

The one – day governor, with his large entourage, made a gallantry entry into the Oriwu College premises to the waiting hands of fellow students, staff and parents who all gave him rousing welcome amidst joy and jubilation.
After a marathon photo session, the convoy departed the school for the home of the 20th edition spelling bee champion.
